CMW Moved from May to September 2020 -
September 9-11, 2020 – Toronto

The 2020 International Marketplace (IMP) at Canadian Music Week - originally slated for May 2020 - has been moved to September 9-11, 2020, due to the lockdown from Covid19.

CAAMA will be getting down to business and organizing business-to-business meeting sessions with incoming mission delegates for the first official SPOTLIGHT ON POLAND, as well as with members of the first official music delegation from the Netherlands in support of the 2020 'FOCUS ON THE NETHERLANDS to meet with CAAMA members and Canadian industry delegates onsite at CMW September 9-11, 2020. CAAMA will also welcome mission members from Brasil as an additional focus country.

CMW will also welcome representatives from South Africa in advance for the first SOUTH AFRICAN MUSIC WEEK conference & festival, to be held in September 2020 in Pretoria. The new event is fashioned after the 2019 'Spotlight on South Africa' organized by CAAMA at Canadian Music Week.

Meet with members of the incoming mission from Japan, and take a few minutes to introduce yourself to Canada's Trade Commissioners who will be onsite looking to meet you.

Last year, CAAMA welcomed international delegations from South Africa, Japan and Poland to meet with Canadians, along with many other international countries in attendance.

CAAMA organiezd pre-arranged business-to-business meetings with members of the South African delegation.

Additional sessions featured B2B meetings with a variety of critical industry sectors Meet the Music Supervisors, Meet the Festivals, Meet A&R) for close to 300 meetings with Canadians.
