CAAMA Taps Billboard Canada to Create Export Opportunities for 40 Under 40 Honourees

CAAMA will be onsite at Billboard Canada’s upcoming 40 Under 40 recognition program—to support the country’s most dynamic young leaders in music — and help the next generation of talent access the visibility, tools, and support needed to compete on the world stage.

The initiative furthers CAAMA’s long-standing efforts in supporting under-represented Canadian music entrepreneurs who are Under 40 years old – as well as ongoing work to celebrate diversity, Women; BIPOC, LGBTQ as well as new Canadians immigrants and minority groups advance their careers.

“For more than three decades, CAAMA has championed the growth of Canadian-owned artist companies and music entrepreneurs at home and abroad,” says Patti Jannetta, President of CAAMA. “This partnership with Billboard Canada reinforces our shared commitment to spotlighting the next wave of innovators and building bridges for global success.”

The new initiative will align with the 40 Under 40 celebration to recognize the inspiring young leaders in music, and give them the visibility, tools and support to support to strengthen their presence on the world stage.

CAAMA will produce an Export Panel at 40 Under 40 in November, followed by a session of virtual B2B meetings with international buyers from targeted territories in January 2026.

Billboard Canada 40 Under 40 takes place on November 20 at W Toronto Hotel. CAAMA members receive a discount. Contact info@caama.org for more details.
